Eatin'

Nolan's first taste of rice cereal on Sunday- yum!
Mr. Independent - By Wednesday Nolan thought he had this eating thing down and would just feed himself (hence the sweet potato in the eye).
The sweet potatoes were a hit. Tomorrow's menu - avacado!

Another first this week - actually there have been two. Nolan started eating solids this week and has been doing amazing. He apparantly has been waiting for this moment for awhile now as he has no hesitation in putting different mushes in his mouth, and has enjoyed them all this far. The other big news is that Nolan also cut his two bottom teeth this week - with little to no fuss at all. This tough little guy never ceases to amaze us.
See video below for additional Nolan fix. :)

Sittin' and Rollin'

Our future cowboy. Yeehaw!

Warning: This video is long and there is quite a build up to the actual roll over. As mentioned before, Nolan can roll all day long in private, and preferably in his crib, but is a little shy under the watchful eye. It was our lucky day today, as he decided to make quite the production of his new skill in front of the camera. Make sure you have some time and maybe a cup of coffee. It is well worth the wait. :)

4 months - already!

Nolan likes to tell lots of stories now. It is hard to get a picture where he isn't gabbing or giggling - especially after a day of daycare.
Yep, he is still a tank!

The result of being cooped up for a very long and rainy Easter weekend.

Nolan is getting mobile! He can roll from back to tummy (usually only in private), and is getting great head control. As you can see, he thinks this is pretty serious business. :)

Looking so cute during a beautiful spring day outing.

Weekender in Sunriver

Nolan did fantastic on his first weekend outing to Sunriver to see Grandpa and Grandma Thelen and Uncle Jeff. The 3 hour car drive went smooth as did sleeping in the pack 'n play. Grandpa thinks that next year he will be ready for skis!

Giggles

Nolan loves a good zirbit - and we love that laugh!
